Tennis balls are made of two “plastics” – the rubber core and the felt covering. Because of this, tennis balls don't belong in household waste. We've found a way, together with various partners, to help recycle tennis balls responsibly. During tennis ball recycling, the felt is removed and the rubber material is passed on to a manufacturer who uses it to make hard courts – the perfect tennis cycle.
With our “ball recycling boxes”, you help your club make sure as many tennis balls as possible get a second life beyond their original purpose. Simply order the boxes in packs of five or ten and place them visibly around the club. Once a box is full, drop it off at the post office and send it to us – Tennis-Point covers the postage!
