Wilson updates the Pro Staff with their version 13 edition. This racquet is highlighted by a design that pays tribute to the historic Pro Staff series, the Pro Staff 97 v13 features a new Braid 45 construction that increases precision by adjusting the angle of the double braided fibers for enhanced feel and stability.

Wilson makes two additional upgrades to this racquet, including a denser string bed that improves consistency on every shot and a new end cap that is used across Wilson's other performance racquet lines for improved comfort and ergonomics.

Longtime fans of the Pro Staff franchise should enjoy the presence of red and yellow pinstripes along the throat, an ode to previous designs of this iconic series through the years. Design also features unique exposed carbon fiber weave with gloss finish above the 3 & 9 of the frame for a slick touch.

The Wilson Pro Staff 97 v13 comes packed with a 97 square inch headsize, along with a solid 11.6 ounce strung weight, and a 16x19 string pattern.

Love this pro staff. Feels great. Can be unforgiving if you don’t swing just right but can bang winners if you do.

I've typically used Yonex before making the switch to this Wilson. It's so lightweight and gives me great spin on the ball. Love it!

Great racket. Just demoed it. All my volleys seemed stronger using it. Definitely for more intermediate and advanced players.

I have V.10, V.11 (normal color and all black) and V.13. The V.10 feels a bit clinky and more vibrations even though I hit balls right at the sweet spot, and I eventually need to switch from multi-main / poly-cross to multi-poly / multi-cross setting to deal with the relatively erratic sringbed; V.11 is similar to V.10 with less vibrations and clinky; V.13 feels somewhat lighter than V.10 and V.11 on hand even though I'd weighed them and make sure they're within spec. V.13 has more feels like V.10 but with significantly less vibration while a bit more powerful than V.10 and V.11. So overall I'd say V.13 is a more mature product after some iterations especially if you feel Roger's signature model is too heavy to swing.
