If you're looking to soften the feel of a poly or co-poly, you have three options: hybrid with a soft string; lower your tension; or reduce gauge. Volkl VStar 19-gauge is a satisfactory choice if gauge reduction is your choice for the woes that go along with installing a poly in your sword. WARNING: doesn't last as long as you may want if you actually can produce meaningful spin.
