Tecnifibre revamps the TF40 series for 2022, making it even more user-friendly with additional playability and an outstanding updated cosmetic. The TF40 line was strategically constructed to fit a broader range of players compared to that of the previous version.

Tecnifibre has added some great technologies into the TF40 including their RSSharpSection. The 5-sided RS Section which was made popular in the T-Fight series gets refined in the TF40, it is smaller and squarer for more frame deformation at ball impact. All of the TF40's come packed with foam-filled into the frame for excellent vibration absorption, extra comfort, and ideal feel. Tecnifibre has also made the grommets wider and longer known as XTENSE BG, which enhances string elasticity and string tolerance.

The TF40 gets modernized with additional playability and outstanding cosmetics. The TF40 315 (16x19) offers more playability and spin potential than ever before from Tecnifibre. The frame itself comes with a 98 square inch head, a comfortable and firm 11.6 ounce strung weight, and an open 16x19 string pattern. The frame continues the cosmetic collaboration between Tecnifibre and Lacoste, but includes the new technology and premium brand identity. It is truly the place where Elegance Meets Performance!

I'm a 5.0, all-court player on both Har-Tru and hard courts. I really like the stability of this racquet on off-center shots, but I found it's overly head-light disposition to be lacking in plow-through and out-of-character with its 315 weight. Two ounces of lead tape added to the head (under the bumper) added barely noticeable additional total weight (which I prefer anyway), but made it less head-light. Now, I love both its power on serves and ground strokes, and its stability on volleys. I found its accuracy and power also improved by stringing on the low side of recommended tension. Great racquet once it's dialed in, but takes some tweaking to find its ideal self.

Although this racket is the heaviest racket I have, love the feel, its so head light that it comes thru really quick. Even a quick flick of the wrist or hand puts plenty of pace on the ground strokes. Really enjoy the serves as well, would say i have to put a bit more body into my forehand volleys though, on a light touch the ball can do some amazing things volley wise- so good touch volley racket Overall would rate it 4.5 and use a hybrid on it
