Reunited with an old friend!
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I always wore New Balance shoes when I was playing competitive tennis- comfortable and a perfect fit for my wide feet. Plus I loved how the shoe stayed the same fit over the years, unlike some manufacturers (swoosh!) who changed the same model name shoe yearly so last years perfect fit was awful this year. Just started getting into pickleball, easier on the aging body, but needed better shoes than crosstrainers. The New Balances felt and fit like an old friend, with great support and grip. Plus great customer service from Tennis Point!

This shoe is wide and deep for those trying to fit their orthotics in a good tennis shoe. Very comfortable.

2e not wide enough
This shopper rated the product 2 out of 5 stars

I have worn NB for many years & I've had several pairs of the 1005's (2e), which are now discontinued. The 1006's are very tight. I bought both the white & black. Both too tight! I've played matches with both pairs 4-5 times, hoping that they stretch out, but it hasn't happened yet.
