Mizuno rolls out updates for its top-selling shoe for 2022: the Wave Exceed Tour 5 adds Mizuno ENERZY FOAM in the forefront and throughout the insole for better cushion, energy return, and responsiveness. The unique 3D circle-and-bridge outer construction increases flexibility and stability for comfort without sacrificing durability. Finally, the re-engineered PITA sock construction fits around the top and sides of your foot, providing a secure fit with a flexible fit.
In addition, this shoe also has a Mizuno WAVE plate for extra cushioning at the heel with ankle support; a PoWnCe midsole with an insole board for responsive shock absorption; and a D-Flex groove at the midfoot to help you turn on a dime while mid-sprint for a ball. The DuRubber outsole is durable and carries a 6-month warranty. This version of the Wave Exceed Tour 5 AC is made partially with eco-friendly materials while the production process uses less water, making a siginficantly smaller impact on our environment.
