The unique 3D circle-and-bridge outer construction increases flexibility and stability for comfort without sacrificing durability. Finally, the re-engineered PITA sock construction fits around the top and sides of your foot, providing a secure fit with a flexible fit.

In addition, this shoe also has a Mizuno WAVE plate for extra cushioning at the heel with ankle support; a PoWnCe midsole with an insole board for responsive shock absorption; and a D-Flex groove at the midfoot to help you turn on a dime while mid-sprint for a ball. I have been a big believer in Mizuno products for years. Having owned several sets of Mizuno irons (including the 919 Tours I currently play), I had high expectations for their hardcourt shoe line. I am happy to say my high expectations may not have been high enough! First, I was very happy with the look of the shoes as soon as I took them out of the box. The looked nice in pictures but look even better in person. If style is important, these will definitely please your eye. Secondly, the shoes are very light. I really enjoy covering ground during my matches and this shoes is guaranteed to not hold you back. having come from Nike shoes, these feel featherlight in comparison which is a welcome change of pace. And lastly, even though these shoes are light, you aren't going to sacrifice any comfort. I have played 8 matches in these shoes in the last 10 days and have absolutely zero complaints about the comfort these give. They may not be ultra-plush, but the fit of the shoe makes up for any shortfalls provided by the foam. In short, if Mizuno would make a tennis racquet, I would be first in line to buy it!
