The revolution is here. Wilson introduces a new series of racquets known as Clash! The Clash gets its name by combining usually opposite traits of (power + control) + (flexibility + stability) all within the same frame.

The Clash 100 is designed to take advantage of the more vertical swing of the modern game. The Clash 100 bends in a specific way, which creates a deeper ball pocket and enhances the overall feel of the frame – while still providing excellent stability.

Wilson has added all-new technology into the Clash, starting with the introduction of “Free Flex.” Powered by a proprietary carbon mapping, the Clash bends in all-new dimensions so players can swing freely with more confidence. Wilson also developed the Clash with a unique frame geometry known as “Stable Smart” – designed through digital simulation, providing best-in-class stability and power, making the Clash one of the most flexible frames in tennis.

With a 100 square inch head size, a solid 11 ounce strung weight, and an open 16x19 string pattern, the Clash 100 is a great feeling racquet for a wide variety of player types looking for a mixture of power, control, and spin.

For Optimal String Performance Wilson Recommends:

  • Comfort: Wilson Sensation Plus
  • Control: Luxilon Smart

If selecting tension "Below Range", please note at checkout within the comments field your desired tension value.

I needed to improve my game. My old Babalot had seen better days. I had a conversation with the Marquette head tennis coach Steven Roecap. He suggested I change my racquet and try the Wilson Clash 100. A friend of mine had this racquet and let me borrow it. I bought one in August and a back up in September. This was the best investment in my game. It has a solid feel and crisp hitting.

It gives me more “pop” on my serve, great “ball feel”, just an awesome racquet!

I have the same string that I have on my Babolat racket and the ball does not seem to bounce off it as well

Control is excellent for placement, but I need to do a better job with my swing, as I am over hitting more often with the Clash. It is easy on my bad elbow, which is really important.

The racket gave me more control and really softened the vibrations when I did not hit the ball on sweet spots

I love this racket. As a 61 y/o 4.5 player with arm problems, this has been an arm friendly racket with plenty of power and feel.

Racquet feels great. I have mild tennis elbow and was anxious to see how this feels. Having used this 4-5 times now, gotta say am relieved. My elbow does not feel a thing even after 2 hours of tennis. This has adequate power, control and reach. I am loving my clash!

I'm not a racquet expert. Let's get that straight. The 108 with synthetic gut and lead tape feels like a ride in an old Lincoln Town Car -very plush. The 100 with Sensation Plus at 53 tention, is more arm comfy than most racquets but less so than the 108. It's real menuverable and fun to hit with however. Both are powerful but not like my old Wilson Hammer 95.

Nice looking racket. Feels terrible. Got it strung with Luxillon 0.125 soft string. It hits like it is a piece of plywood. It vibrates and it lacks that feel that you should get when you hit the sweet spot. I had my partner try it as well and he basically had the same comments. I had it restrung with Wilson synthetic gut Power string. This improved it a little, but I am still terribly unhappy with it.

Love this racket. I own 8, just surprised how sensitive to temperature and co-polys it is. Summer strings at 45pds just don't always work and stiffen up in 40-50 degree weather. Using a soft string in cooler months is a must. Otherwise a great comfortable racket.

I used Luxilon Smart 125 string at 48 lbs. Nice balance of power and control. My forehand is my weaker side and this racquet gave me more power and control. I was also looking for an arm-friendly tennis racquet but it's too soon to tell if this racquet made any difference. I do have problems returning hard shots but I'm still getting used to the racquet. Overall this is a great racquet!

I like the balance and the flexibility of this racquet most. It's spin friendly without sacrificing descent power. I have nothing negative to say about it at this point in ownership. I'm a strong 3.5 or on a good day a 4.0 player.

The Wilson Clash 100 has really helped my game. I have much better depth control (when I do my part) and the spin I can generate is fantastic. The Clash is perfect for an intermediate player with a vertical stroke.

The Flex is great! I have been playing with a Head Radical Youtek IG OS for the last 7 years due to elbow issues. I have been searching for a replacement racquet for years. I have finally found it in the Wilson Clash 100. I have played 11 sets over that last 3 days and I have NO ELBOW issues! I do have to make some small adjustments because I have a lot more power with this racquet without losing control. If I swing nice and easy the racquet performs Great! If I try to muscle up like I had to with my Head Radical the ball flys long and I do not have the control that I need. Overall a great racquet and my stick for the up coming USTA season. I'm a 4.5 player (55 years old) and retire teaching pro. If you are looking for a new racquet you must demo the Wilson Clash!
