This frame offers a solid feel with much precision and control. Power needs to be generated as with any of the thinner frames. This is a good racket for intermediate to advanced players. It is not a forgiving racket so your swing path must be consistent and on time to ensure you hit the ball on the sweet spot. If you have the right combination of an early preparation, enough racket lag and acceleration to hit our in front, then this stick will compensate you with very accurate shots.

Outstanding racquet - Been using the RF 97 but it was too heavy for me. I used the Wilson revolve strings 17" and have all the power and control I was looking for.

I really enjoyed the feel of the “new version” of the Blade, though it did not have the countervail-there was more power in my groundstrokes. It did feel a little heavier than previous V6 Blade (with countervail) even with the same string.

Loved the power I got from it. Used to use a 18X20 string pattern, but switched to a 16X19 when I read a review on string patterns from Midwest Sports. Total game changer.

Just in time for Spring tennis. My 17 year old still plays this stick and likes it better than the countervail model and the v7. Crisp and solid.

I have the older version of the Blade 98, so it is not difficult to get used to this racquet. It is a heavier racquet that really shines at the net.
