New for 2019, Babolat expands on the new era of the Pure Aero legacy with the all-new Pure Aero Tour. Babolat re-designed and re-engineered the new Tour with more control plus a better feel.

The Pure Aero Tour continues to evolve thanks to Babolat's bold technical partnerships. Babolat has added in Carbonplystabilizer to the Pure Aero Tour which is powered by Chomarat. This new addition to the Pure Aero Tour is a new generation of high-performance carbon fibers for more control and stability on every shot. The 2019 Pure Aero Tour also features an even better feel thanks to a technological partnership with SMAC, an innovative French aerospace company. For optimal vibration absorption, Babolat integrated SMACWRAP technology (thin viscoelastic rubber) placed at the 3 & 9 o'clock on the new Pure Aero Tour, this ensures players with the best possible feel and comfort.

The Babolat Pure Aero Tour is the heaviest racquet in the new Pure Aero racquet line. At 100 square inches, 11.8 ounces strung, and a 16x19 string pattern - the all-new Pure Aero Tour will create massive spin with even more stability and precision.

For Optimal String Performance Babolat Recommends:
  • Durability: Babolat RPM Blast
  • Playability: Babolat Xcel
  • Hybrid: Babolat RPM Blast 17 - Xcel 16

If selecting tension "Below Range", please note at checkout within the comments field your desired tension value.

Loving the racquet. I am able to swing out more aggressively with confidence the ball will stay in play.

Stability, Spin, and even a bit softer

Love this racket! It somewhat separates itself from many of the modern rackets that weigh 300-305 oz. This beam is super solid at net and on returns and the weight adds nice stability, making it more arm friendly. The dampening cortex being moved a bit higher also creates a slightly softer feel than previous iterations. Paired with a softer poly, this is a real weapon!

LOVE IT ! ! !

I am down to the last of my POG90, and started looking for replacements. This one looked good in spec, but was impossible for me to take a full swing without the ball flying on me. It's also extremely stiff, causing significant discomfort in the shoulders and wrist after a while. The weight made the stiffness much worse. I didn't find the spin to be special. I hit with full western on forehands and semi-western on my one handed backhand.
