Email Marketing Manager

Tennis-Point is looking for a data-driven, results-oriented Email Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team and lead our email and SMS engagement strategy. This role will Identify the best way to retain customers, increase repeat purchase and drive conversion with email and SMS. This is a full-time position that reports to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the marketing and purchasing teams to create relevant and engaging user journeys and design best in class lifecycle journeys that maximize customer lifetime value.
• Deliver YOY revenue growth that delivers goals in the email and SMS channels.
• Coordinate the promotional calendar including all product launches, sales events, seasonal offers and tournament activity.
• Serve as the email best practices and platform company expert.
• Leverage first party data to enhance journeys and share learning across marketing channels.
• Research Competitive marketing activity and respond accordingly.
• Work with the marketing team members to create and test Cross-channel campaigns

Education and Experience:

• BA/BS degree in Management, Marketing or relevant field.
• Proven 3+ years of work experience with Email/SMS Marketing, Marketing Manager or a similar role in the Marketing Department.
• Hands-on experience with a marketing automation system (SFMC, Listrak, Marketo etc.) and working with large databases.
• Experience planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotions including seasonal offers, sales, product launches, sweepstakes, and contests.
• Working knowledge of email/sms authoring and automation tools.
• Excellent analytical abilities to support A/B testing and conversion optimization.
• Ability to segment contacts and build targeted audiences.
• Proven ability to understand, compile, analyze and interpret marketing performance data using Google Analytics.
• Ecommerce experience is required
• Experience modifying basic HTML and using dynamic content.
• Advanced Excel skills
• General copywriting skills
• Great time-management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience working in the Sporting Goods, Tennis Industry a plus
• Basic Graphic design and editing skills a plus
