Spin and Control

If you read enough of the Head string descriptions they include every word in the book. This string is listed as Power and Control on the front, but is actually control and spin. It is the most spin-focused multifilament string in the Head lineup. I use this string at a higher tension with a swing that produces average spin to slightly increase spin and give me control to hit spots on the court. I generate enough power from my arm and hips that I used to hit long with other strings. Now my swing is matched with my string and the results have made tennis much more fun to play.

Used to be a Great String

I have loved this string for many years. Super responsive, pretty good power. Then the 17 gauge became unavailable for about 6 months. It is now back for sale (slightly different packaging). Just strung two of my racquets (same tension as always) - they seem to have a different feel then before plus the string slides around a lot more. Did Head change the formula or manufacturer for this string maybe? So once a great string .... now just a good string.
