The Head MicroGel Radical Oversize is the latest version of Head's hugely successful Radical series, inspired by Andre Agassi.

Head has kept most specifications consistent with the Flexpoint Radical OS, but now with a lighter static weight and the added benefit of MicroGel technology. MicroGel offers aggressive, competitive players ultimate feel, unique touch, and added stability. When combined with carbon composite fibers in the racquet head, MicroGel deforms and compresses upon ball impact, uniformly absorbing and distributing the impact load around the entire frame, creating a rock-solid feel while offering extra stability against twisting.

Note: This racquet is pre-strung with Head Sonic Pro 16 at Head's recommended tension of 57 lbs.

Very stiff and not sure if it will be the best thing for my elbow despite adding a dampener

Great OS Racket
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

One of the few OS rackets that has good power and control. I used the alloy TI Radical Elite for years but really like this one. My game has changed but going from 45 to 55 pds for co-poly strings should give me more control. My favorite OS racket.

Great for the arm
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Purchased this racket from all the great reviews about it being arm friendly. After playing with it for about a month I can say that they are true. Have not changed a thing about my game....and still play at the same frequency (1-2) times per week....arm soreness is no where near where it used to be after a match. Could be other factors that I'm not noticing, but I'm willing to bet that this racket is helping!

Great racquet at an even better price
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I used to play tennis a lot when I was in my 20s and now in my 40’s I am just starting to get back into the game. I figured that I need to upgrade from my 95 square inch head size since I haven’t played in 20ish years! I was looking for a racquet that had an oversize frame and a slightly lighter weight, with a good price point as well. I read a the reviews and this racquet had a LOT of great reviews with hardly any negative comments. I gave it a try and I have to agree with the reviewers! This racquet is incredibly comfortable, making me feel like I hadn’t skipped a day of playing. This racquet has a great balance of feel and power, with enough control that I don’t feel like I’m hitting the ball sporadically and I can place my shots pretty good as well. It gave my serve the spin and pop that I need at an older age. I was most impressed with how comfortable and versatile this frame seemed to be, especially at the net (which I am not too familiar with). I definitely recommend this racquet to any level of player looking for some more power and control.
