Head updates the Extreme MP for 2022 -- turning the frame into the ultimate spin-machine for tournament players. Head has upgraded the Extreme MP with state-of-the-art Auxetic technology, helping you to spin big and create chaos. Auxetic constructions show a unique deformation compared to non-Auxetic constructions. Due to their internal properties, Auxetic constructions widen when a “pull” force is applied and contract when squeezed. The bigger the applied force, the bigger the Auxetic reaction. The new Extreme racquet line is endorsed by Matteo Berrettini.

The Extreme MP features Head's "Spin Shaft" which provides optimized lateral stability, creating higher spin potential. Along with a shaft that helps create extra spin, the Extreme MP has unique spin grommets which allow more string movement and a powerful trampoline effect on impact with the ball. Head strategically positioned Graphene which strengthens the frame, provides greater stability and optimizes energy transfer from racquet to ball. Head's Extreme performance frames come with a fresh, daring design.

The Extreme MP fits a wider range of players than the Tour thanks to its 100 square inch head, comfortable 11.2 ounce strung weight and open 16x19 string pattern.

If selecting tension "Below Range", please note at checkout within the comments field your desired tension value.

Just wanted a little bit more power
This shopper rated the product 4 out of 5 stars

I'd been playing with an 18x20 "player's racquet" for over a decade when I decided I needed to move to a more contemporary racquet to take the next step in my game as I get older, play in more leagues and tournaments, etc. After weeks of demoing over a dozen racquets, this was almost the one that I went with, and honestly I still think about it. Coming from my old racquet, this offered a really familiar feeling of predictability and response all over the court that I loved. It also gave me the spin I was looking for and the control and connection that I valued. It's only shortcoming for me was that it didn't give me the extra easy power that I found in other racquets in its class. Otherwise, it was great.

Happy with the Racquet (and Tennis Point!)
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

As an intermediate obsessed with Head and owner of multiple Head Racquets, I decided to try this one after watching some YT vids about it that made me think it might work for me... I LOVE THIS RACQUET... feels like you cant miss with a large sweetspot and a very comfortable feel overall. I dont know, it just works so well. Gonna buy another soon as backup. As for Tennis Point... the racquet was strung and shipped very quickly unlike other big sites ive ordered thru before. so TP is now my go to for all new racquet purchases.

I have tried the speed mp and radical mp and the Extreme MP is the one for me. Super comfortable hitting, total shock absorption, allows me (low intermediate) to swing super freely as the response is the closest thing to a "can't miss" feeling of any racquet I've tried.
