Dunlop Explosive Poly 16G Silver Tennis String

I have used Dunlop polys for about ten years. I have used the Explosive more frequently. I think polyester is strong, allows for great control with considerable power. I use an "S" type racquets that adds spin and kick to my service. I have tried all the fancy strings and sometimes simple is just better. I think polyester is better to deliver slice then hybrid or hexagonal. For tennis elbow prone, I think soft polyester is helpful. I find Dunlop to have a very good product, even though I use Wilson racquets.

This is the only poly that I like as a full bed. I strung this up at 50 pounds (low end) on a Wilson 6.1 95 (16X18) and found the power to be good and controllable, the spin is not as much as a shaped co-poly, but it's more than enough spin, and it has just enough feel for touch shots. And it's not hard on the arm. It strings up easily, retains good playability right until it breaks. Really, probably one of the better polys out there. I only give it 4 stars because I prefer hybrid setups just a little more. I recommended this to my brother and he loves it.
