Great shoe for flat feet.

I have some of the fussiest feet I know of, and I like these shoes. To be clear, I need wider shoes at this phase of my life (in my 60's), especially as I need to add support insoles, so my selections are now limited to wider fits. I've tried most of them at this point, and many come and go. These shoes definitely have a little less cushioning than some "comfort" shoes, but are not on the harsh end of the spectrum. Fit wise, there is plenty of room in the toe box, but not too much to slip around. The upper covers my feet the way a quality pair of cleats would--in fact, these shoes recall an old pair of Diadora cleats I used for years (take note Diadora--go back to your roots!) But I have to say the structure of the bottom is the best part: firm grip, reinforcement at lean and pivot points, and just enough flex to allow for more nimble movement, something missing from most tennis shoes these days. These shoes are definitely geared towards the athletic player. Kudos!

These were not the best for my foot shape and style of play. Foot shape-wise, I have short but very wide feet so I went with the wide option for these shoes. Width felt good out of the box but the shoes were a bit too long at the toes compared to other shoes of the same size. When it came time to play, I move very quickly and like to make quick cuts and slides on the court. With these shoes, no matter how tight I made the laces, I felt like my feet were sliding all over the place inside the shoes. This made it tough to get moving, whether front to back or side to side, and also to stop/change direction. Not enough sidewall support to be useful for me. I am also pretty short so someone that can cover court without having to move as much as I do may not have the same problem.

Excellent pair of shoes. Fit like a glove, already played two matches and they performed well. Just enough extra width to make them a perfect fit.
