Babolat’s Boost USA tennis racquet is the ideal frame for beginners and junior players moving up to their first full-size frame. The Boost comes in at 9.8 ounces strung— a comfortable weight for an up & coming junior player. The Babolat Boost is a full graphite frame. At 105 square inches, the Boost still has a large head size allowing for a large sweet spot resulting in cleaner hits off the frame.

Babolat's Woofer system technology featured on the Boost Aero increases the ball & string contact time, allowing for greater control and a sensation of comfort. With a modern design and graphite frame, the Boost is very easy to handle for recreational players.

Note: This racquet is pre-strung with Babolat's Spiraltek 16 at Babolat's recommended tension of 53 lbs.

Very nice racket for the price!
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I was surprised at the playability and quality of this racket. It plays very well right out of the box. Picked it up as a spare to my $300 racket and it just might become my main.

Good racquet for a beginner
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I got this racquet for my son who started playing tennis in school this year. He started with an inexpensive recreational racquet, but it was suggested that he should try out something better. The Babolat Boost USA is actually a Boost D or Drive racquet, which seems to be a lighter, less expensive version of the Babolat Pure Dive. It is well constructed and has good strings for someone just starting out in tennis. He demoed another Boost series racquet and liked the feel and weight, so we decided to get this one before moving up to the higher priced models. So far, he seems to like the racquet and says it's much better than the recreational racquet he used before. The returns are better and it serves better as well. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a darker grip. The white grip gets dirt and stains and looks quite gross after a while so we'll likely have to change it at some point.

My son loves this racquet because it is lightweight but durable...and he is hard on his racquets! Also, it doesn't hurt that it looks like the American flag!
